Charges dropped against Stormy Daniels for Columbus strip club performance

Charges have been dropped against Stormy Daniels, who was arrested at a Columbus strip club overnight after police said she violated an Ohio law against contact with patrons.

City Attorney Zach Klein dropped the charges:

Her attorney, Michael Avenatti, said he was pleased the charges were dropped.

Avenatti had first announced her arrest on Twitter, who called it "politically motivated" and a "setup."

He also tweeted that she would plead not guilty to three misdemeanor charges.
